Photojournalism
Photography has always been a part of my hobbies and so when I joined the journalism community, I fell into place with taking photos, especially ones that tell a story. I've found that photojournalism makes me super excited about seeing what the world has to offer and that one photo can really tell a million words.
The photos below represent my photography work in the realm of journalism so far. I believe good photography is important for my school newspaper, Na Pueo, and journalism in general because it is an aspect of understanding a story from another perspective. Stories would only be words without their corresponding photos and it passes on information through both words and visuals coherently.
